Adult electric scooters seem to be all over social media these days as the next big thing in personal transport but are they all they are cracked up to be? The company Lime have started to install their scooters across cities around the world where previously they had installed electric bikes now they have moved into the electric scooter sector. Adult electric scooters are no toy and they are touted as being Eco friendly, fun and most of all affordable. Here at Logues Lodge we love anything that is Eco friendly and we were big fans of the straw ban that is now happening in Ireland even if it is 20 years too late.
Not only will you be able to rent these scooters but of course they can be purchased out right from stores like www.etech.ie and you will soon even be able to get a grant of these adult electric scooters. They are not that expensive to begin with the Xiaomi M365 scooter being the one to get at the moment and there is not too much competition. That adult electric scooter retails at around 500 – 600 euro depending on where you get it so they are not too expensive.
The bike to work scheme also gives a 40% grant so you can save another 40% on top of that so they will sell like hot cakes in our opinion. They are Eco friendly in the sense that you can charge them from a socket in your home and of course they are electric so there are no emissions. If for example 1 in 20 people decided to use these scooters instead of cars then that would have a huge effect on the traffic in and around our big cities…especially Dublin which is growing at a rapid rate.
We are going to get some here for the lodge and our visitors will be able to rent them from us for a small fee. It is a great way to travel around and of course it will keep our beautiful country that bit cleaner.
